The revised Orvis Hydros Reel is lighter weight and stiffer than the previous edition, the world's best-selling large arbour reel. The drag knob is easily accessible and comfortable to use. The improved drag seal protects the clutch bearing in the drag mechanism. Subtle touches, like a radiused reel foot for kink-free leader protection. The fully sealed drag with stacked carbon and stainless steel disc washers is one of the strongest in the industry, with zero start-up inertia. Matte type II anodized finish, standard large arbor size which balances better with lighter-weight fly rod. Excellent retrieval rates and less line coiling than standard arbor reels. Refinement and improved! Imported.
