Phil's High Top

This is a beautiful tie of an old pattern.  This is a killer fly in the surf with the yellow head for pompano.  The red head has been a favorite of our snook fisherman.  Essentially marabou tied carefully on the top of the hook to create a nice baitfish profile-The magic is the marabou and the flashabout.  The fly can be moved very slowly and still have tremendous action.  It is effective wherever there is slightest movement of the water.  Tied on a stainless hook, Phil's high top is about 1 3/8" in length and is an excellent baitfish imitation where the bait is small.
