Umpqua's Big Game leader is designed to turn over large and heavy baitfish crab and shrimp patterns 2 to 3/0. They will turn over with fly rods and fly lines from 6wt to 12wt. Fluorocrbon leaders sink faster than mono, and are extremely clear in water. This leader is ideal for sight casting on a gin clear flat for bonefish, redfish, and tarpon. Deceiver HD leaders are UV resistant and will have a very long shelf life, even when tucked in a saltwater wading pack. Heavy butt section with a late taper down to 20lb is perfect for turning over larger, bulkier flies targeting large fish.
