The Trapper, a favorite pattern of many Case knife collectors, has been produced since the 1920's. This popular knife gets its name from the consumer it was designed for. Because of its basic trapping and skinning blades and its light weight, it is a must-have knife for those who trap small game. It is a jack knife with two full length blades; a slender clip and a long spey. The clip blade is appreciated for its versatility and use for multi-purpose tasks. The spey blade has a specially curved tip making it a common all-purpose utility blade. Standard trappers average to be about four inches long and are available in a wide spectrum of handle colors, handle materials and designs.
