The revised Orvis Hydros Reel is lighter weight and stiffer than the previous edition, the world's best selling large arbour reel. The drag knob is easily accessible and comfortable to use. The improved drag seal protects the clutch bearing in the drag mechanism. Subtle touches, like a radiused reel foot for kink-free leader protection. The fully sealed drag with stacked carbon and stainless steel disc washers is one of the strongest in the industry, with zero start-up inertia. Matte type II anodized finish, standard large arbor size which balances better with lighter-weight fly rod. Excellent retrieval rates and less line coiling than standard arbor reels. Refinement and improved! Imported.
