Observations from the water: The Pungo 120 is a sports car dressed like a kayak. It is quick, turns easily, tracks straight, and is very comfortable. There is padding just where your knees and thighs rub the hull. The new console is great for chips and dip (just kidding.) It has several pockets to hold gear at your fingertips. Also, the side of the wide hull gently slopes toward the water so that your paddle rarely bangs the side of the boat. You would never notice this unless you had paddled other kayaks. This kayak is a joy on the water and can handle a wide range of paddlers from 100 to 270lbs without feeling tipsy.
